This is a super simple recipe that my family loved and that looks great for company too.  Thanks Kraft Foods magazine.  Hope you enjoy it!

Apple Pork Chops

1 can apple pie filling

4-6 boneless pork chops

1 box chicken flavored stuffing mix

salt and pepper

Grease a 9×13 pan (or you can try it in a square 9×9 pan if using only 4 chops).  Layer pie filling first, then pork chops.  Salt and pepper the chops.  Prepare the stuffing mix as the box directs.  Layer stuffing over the chops.  Cover with foil and bake for 30 min. @ 350.  Then uncover and bake another 10-15 minutes to crisp up the topping.

The last time I made this I made it for guests and did two pans.  For that I used 1 1/2 cans pie filling for each 9×13 and 6 boneless chops.  I also used 1 1/2 boxes of stuffing for each pan as well.  I am still tweaking this recipe, but I liked having a little more filling to layer with.

  2. This is truly a great receipe - delicious, and easy to prepare - which is really important to a busy mom. I liked it so much that I bought a can of apple pie filling for two of my sisters and gave them the receipe to try. I’m also going to fix it as well.

  3. Thanks guys!
